We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing and developing young children in a safe and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and their families.
We are currently looking to recruit a passionate nursery practitioner for 38 hours per week. This will be based at our family run day nursery . The post is for 5 full days a week between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm. We are looking for someone creative and ready to work as part of a lively and friendly team.
This post will be based working alongside an enthusiastic team and our lovely little bears.

Duties
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and encourage parental involvement.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
Manage daily routines within the nursery setting, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a welcoming environment that supports children's learning experiences.
Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children in your care.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and parents.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development through play-based learning.
