If that's you, you will be a patient, caring person with a commitment to young children's wellbeing, with high standards of safety & hygiene.


You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special and loved, the ability to laugh at children's jokes and the confidence to sing loudly - either in or out of tune is acceptable.


A willingness to distribute warm hugs is essential as well as possessing the skills to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people. The skill to remember the names of many children, their pets and special soft toys are a key component of this job. Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job like this one.



A Level 3 Qualification in Childcare is desirable but not essential.
