Bears House Nursery is a friendly nursery, located in the heart of St Leonards & Hastings.

Established for nearly 30 years, the nursery is very much a part of the local community. The dedicated, passionate team are extremely experienced and welcome newer members to the team. Children enjoy regular outings, farm trips and Christmas activities.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team and provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, providing guidance and support to children, and ensuring the safety of all children in their care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a passion for teaching, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and secure environment for children. Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers. Encourage children to develop their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills. Plan activities that are appropriate for the age and stage of development of the children in your care. Observe and record children's progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Be aware of the individual needs of each child in your care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 27,850.00 per year
