We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children within a nurturing and safe environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to foster the developmental needs of young children. The ideal applicant will have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a passion for early years education.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages learning and socialisation among children.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines, outings, and special events.
Communicate effectively with children and colleagues.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent are required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative and organisational skills.
