Nursery Practitioner

to join our friendly team at our Prestwood setting!

Your Key Responsibilities:

Manage a key group of children, providing attentive, nurturing care and documenting their developmental progress. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and colleagues. Build positive and supportive relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team. Ensure full compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, promoting children's safety and well-being at all times. Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall smooth running and success of the nursery.
What We're Looking For:

A full and relevant

Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification

A clean enhanced DBS check (arranged by Flower Pots Day Nursery upon appointment) A genuine passion for early years education and nurturing young children Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and commitment to maintaining a safe environment Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills A creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to promoting children's learning and development
