Key Responsibilities:
Childcare & Development:
Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and grow, helping them develop key skills and confidence.
Daily Care:
Assist with feeding, changing, and maintaining the health and well-being of children.
Learning Activities:
Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning.
Observation & Record Keeping:
Track the children's progress and ensure that development milestones are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow nursery staff to deliver excellent care and a positive experience for both children and families.
Parent Interaction:
Build strong relationships with parents and keep them updated on their child's development, progress, and achievements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent), or working towards this.
A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Desirable:
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
First Aid certification.
Creativity in planning and delivering engaging activities.
