Job Description

We are recruiting for a full time Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner and require an experienced and enthusiastic individual to work and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We will pay a competitive rate of pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities will include ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, stimulating, caring and child-centered learning environment.

The successful individual will have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Minimum HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification and be able to register with SSSC. Have experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking learning experiences both indoors and out that support children's learning and development. Have knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three curriculum Have knowledge of GIRFEC and Building/Realising the Ambition
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8pm, our core hours are 8am - 6pm shifts will vary within these times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kilmarnock KA1 1RX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
