Due to us expanding our nursery and creating more rooms for children, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through play and structured activities.
We are recruiting for both level 2 and level 3 practitioners, hours per week and shift times can be discussed for the right candidates
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children's needs are met, including personal care and hygiene.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment, promoting a culture of learning and inclusivity.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Experience
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children and families.
Proven ability to manage groups of children safely and effectively while fostering an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
Leadership skills are advantageous for guiding less experienced staff and supporting team dynamics.
Must hold a full and relevant level 2 or level 3 qualification.
