We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Detailed knowledge of the EYFS.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence.
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care routines.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and any incidents in line with organisational policies.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support each child's individual needs.
Manage daily operational tasks such as organising resources, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff or interns when required, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
Drive organisational initiatives related to early childhood education programmes as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience with nursery management systems is advantageous.
