Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Godalming. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing children's development through tailored learning experiences. Your contributions will directly support our mission of creating an inclusive and enriching environment for all children.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children. Implement In the Moment Planning (ITMP) to support children's individual interests. Facilitate both adult and child-initiated play to enhance learning experiences. Collaborate with parents to establish children's starting points and track progress. Focus on small groups of children weekly to identify learning needs and next steps. Encourage children's independence in their learning journey. Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding development. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 Childcare Diploma

Proven experience working with children in a nursery setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Excellent childcare skills with a focus on individual development. Good communication skills for effective interaction with parents and team members. Leadership qualities are preferred but not mandatory. Management experience is a plus but not essential.
