Job Description

Little Learners Day Care is a small childcare setting located in Kippax. We provide outstanding childcare for babies and children 0-4 years, offering a safe, caring, supportive and stimulating environment for the children in our care to flourish. As a result of our continued growth, we are now looking for a level 2 or 3 nursery practitioner to join our amazing team.

We are looking for qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our established team and have both full time and part-time opportunities. The day-to-day duties will include:

o Leading focus activities linked to the early years curriculum and facilitating free flow play both inside and outdoors, to maximise each child's daily experience and development.

o Recording observations of the children's development.

o Contributing to the planning of suitable learning and development activities.

o Feeding/supporting children at meal and snack times and cleaning children and the dining room afterwards.

o Changing nappies and assisting with toileting and hygiene requirements.

o Ensuring the safeguarding of all children by being constantly aware of potential risks and hazards and promoting safe practices.

o Supporting the children in an age-appropriate way in becoming independent around certain tasks. Whilst also modelling and teaching the children the importance of kindness, respect and manners.

o Plus, a variety of other duties to ensure the children in our setting receive the highest standards of care and have fun throughout their day. The successful candidate will need: To be qualified level 2 early years practitioner or above. A minimum of six months experience working as a nursery practitioner.

We are looking for full-time candidates to work the following days.

Monday 7:30am-5:30pm

Tuesday OFF

Wednesday 8am-6pm

Thursday 10am-6pm

Friday - 10am-6pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
