We are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner with Level 2 or above in Early Yearsto join our team. You'll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
Skills
Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues alike.
Previous nursery experience is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings.
