Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the development and well-being of the children in your care, ensuring they receive the highest standard of education and support.

Duties



Provide high-quality childcare and support to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build positive relationships and foster a supportive community. Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times, ensuring that all children are cared for appropriately. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Collaborate with other staff members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff and contributing to the overall development of the nursery.

Requirements



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A drive to promote children's learning through innovative activities that inspire curiosity and creativity. Leadership qualities that enable you to support and mentor fellow practitioners within the nursery setting. A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their early development.

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
