Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our brand new nursery in Palmers Green. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations. Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence. Support children's emotional and behavioural development through positive reinforcement and effective communication. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities in compliance with organisational policies. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Experience

Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
