- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, within the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Supervise and engage with children, through play
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in the nursery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities, through conversation and the Tapestry Learning Journal
Experience
:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work as part of a strong team and collaborate with other nursery practitioners
