We are looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 2/3 -

full-time

Salary 27,000 - 30,000 Pro rata, depending on

qualifications

and Experience



We're a small but fast-growing nursery group, currently operating five highly rated nurseries across South East London. Our approach is "to help nurture children that can innovate and create the life they want in a way that is compassionate to themselves, others around them and the planet". You will need to be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude along with excellent communication skills. The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff is also vital. You must also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly.

Qualifications and Skills

1+ years of experience with children in a work or home situation (Preferred) Knowledge of OFSTED standards (Preferred) Knowledge of the EYFS (Preferred) Good time management skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding (preferred) Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a key person Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children and support the staff team with their key children Promote a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage To manage and support children's personal, social, and emotional development, including the promotion of positive behaviour strategies Support the transition of children into the nursery and then onto the next room Build positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues Work as part of a team Adhere to all company policies and procedures
