Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. You will be responsible for fostering the development of children through engaging activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a genuine love for working with children. Duties - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. - Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children. - Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. - Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging good manners among children. - Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning progress. - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the nursery operates smoothly and efficiently. - Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare. Experience - A background in Early Childhood Education or relevant qualifications is preferred. - Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. - A drive to create engaging learning experiences for children. - Familiarity with nursery routines and childcare regulations is advantageous.
