Job Description
We require a qualified Nursery Practitioner (bank staff) for our busy nursery to cover staff holidays and sickness. The hours will vary each week depending on the needs of the nursery. We offer a full induction, training and support.
Qualities required:
Experience working with young children from babies up to 4 years Enthusiasm and commitment Effective communication skills A real desire and capability to achieve the highest standards in childcare Ability to work alongside the staff in the day-to-day routine of the setting. Commitment to continuous professional development
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage children in educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the nursery. Adapt to the needs of the children and the nursery, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
Enhanced DBS will be required for this post.
