Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner level 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning through play and structured activities, ensuring their safety and happiness at all times.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery. Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met promptly and effectively. Uphold health and safety regulations while promoting good hygiene practices among children. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare with the ability to inspire young minds through play-based learning. Driving licence preferred for potential transportation needs related to outings or activities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
