We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through play and structured activities. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and learning of young children while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication at all times.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve practice.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
