Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
Manage daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Promote positive behaviour management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional resilience among children.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur during nursery hours.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
