Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm / 48 weeks per year.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our nursery setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while supporting early childhood development. Duties

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development across various areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines Support the organisation of nursery programmes in line with early childhood education standards Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Lead by example in maintaining high standards of behaviour, organisation, and hygiene within the nursery Assist with the management of nursery staff, contributing to team leadership and training when necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Drive nursery vehicles when required for outings or transportation needs

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. Experience with nursery management or leadership roles is advantageous Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties Ability to work as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative and professionalism

Pay: 25,000.00-33,046.00 per year
