Who Are We?

At Wonderland Nursery, learning is a whirlwind of excitement and play, where every day is a new discovery! We're a vibrant and imaginative setting where tiny humans thrive on exploration, creativity, and lots of giggles. You will be joining at a pivotal time, where plans are underway to build on the current facilities and provisions, to meet the potential our nursery has to offer for the children at our setting.

Your daily dose of delightful duties:

Sparking imaginations: You'll be the architect of awesome activities, inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, that ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning. You'll be planning and supervising activities like arts and crafts, music and imaginative play. Nurturing little hearts: Providing top-notch care and support to our children is at the core of what is done, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and ready to conquer the world! Super-sleuth observations: Having eyes in the back of the head (figuratively speaking, of course!) to observe, assess, and document children's progress, celebrating every tiny triumph along the way. Building bridges of brilliance: Forging strong bonds with children, their families, and your incredible colleagues will be a key part of the day, making our nursery a true family affair. Making magic happen: Contributing to the overall smooth running of the nursery, ensuring a fun, stimulating, and safe environment where every child feels like a superhero.

What you bring to our playground of possibility:

A Level 3 childcare qualification : Being qualified to work your magic with the little ones. A proven track record of bringing joy to children aged 0-5: Being a seasoned pro at navigating the wonderful world of early years. An understanding of the EYFS framework: Knowing the secret sauce to making learning fun and effective. Communication skills so bright they sparkle: The ability to chat with toddlers and grown-ups with equal ease. A heart overflowing with love for little people: This isn't just a job, it's a calling! Team player extraordinaire: Thriving in a collaborative environment where every day is a group effort. A sprinkle of quirkiness: Being prepared for anything from spontaneous dance parties to glitter explosions. A sound recognition of health and safety requirements to ensure our setting keeps everyone super safe.

Bonus points if you have:

Ongoing professional development (always learning new tricks!) A Paediatric First Aid certificate (our little heroes need protecting!) Experience implementing the EYFS framework (being a master builder of learning foundations) Organizational and communication skills that are simply sensational. A positive attitude that could brighten even the rainiest of days!
