We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and lead a group of young learners effectively. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Provide high-quality care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Support the management team in maintaining nursery standards, policies, and procedures.
Assist in the planning of daily routines and ensure that all activities are inclusive and cater to the diverse needs of children.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to drive is an advantage for transporting children if required.
A genuine passion for childcare with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for young children.
