Job Description

Our Level 3 Practitioner helps deliver high-quality care and education, supporting children to learn, play and thrive in a warm, safe and stimulating environment. Working closely with the team, they plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS, build strong relationships with families and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities



Support the daily running of the nursery. Provide warm, responsive care and build strong bonds with children. Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS. Observe, assess and track children's development. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive environment. Communicate positively with parents and carers. Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning space. Follow health, safety and safeguarding procedures at all times. Support with general nursery organisation and basic admin.

Requirements



Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential). Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting. Understanding of the EYFS and child development. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and inclusive practice. DBS check required; Paediatric First Aid, SEN or Food Hygiene desirable. Warm, positive, proactive and passionate about children's development.

Pay: Up to 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
