Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. A valid driving licence is desirable for this position.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental milestones Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Foster a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to childcare Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily experiences Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations Assist in organising nursery routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play Support new staff members through mentoring and leadership when required

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare standards Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications recognised by relevant authorities (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) a Valid driving licence is desirable
