Shift Pattern & Working Hours:
Full-time, permanent position
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Occasional overtime may be available depending on the needs of the setting
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's learning and development in accordance with the EYFS
Act as a Key Worker, building strong and supportive relationships with children and families
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and curiosity
Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for babies, toddlers and preschool children
Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, DBS requirements and Ofsted standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold high-quality childcare practice and positive room culture
Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in an early years setting as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator or Childcare Practitioner
Strong understanding of child development, the Early Learning Goals and the EYFS curriculum
Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for early childhood education
