Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children within our nursery setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst fostering a nurturing environment for young learners. The Nursery Practitioners will play a vital role in supporting children's development, ensuring their safety, and creating a positive, engaging atmosphere that promotes learning through play.

Duties

Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs Supervising children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being Supporting children's emotional and social development through positive interactions Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and daily routines Collaborating with colleagues to organise daily schedules and activities Communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs Ensuring the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating Assisting with the organisation of outings or trips, including driving when necessary Upholding nursery policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards

Skills

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting Strong management and organisational skills to oversee daily activities effectively Leadership qualities to guide and support junior staff members or interns Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications required at the minimum of a Level 3 Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to childcare responsibilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,472.50-28,278.22 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
