Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and nurturing relationships. The Nursery Practitioner will also play a key role in supporting the management team and leading initiatives that enhance the learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Support the management team in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment. Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members, demonstrating leadership skills within the team. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to childcare.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide staff and support children's learning effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's development.
