Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Fledgelings Day Nursery. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our mission by providing exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years, ensuring their emotional wellbeing and development.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. Support children's emotional wellbeing and social skills through positive interactions. Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of nursery practice. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

Experience working with under 2's in a nursery setting is desired but not essential. Strong understanding of child development principles and EYFS framework. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Passion for nurturing children's growth and learning.
Fledgelings Day Nurseries is family owned, with 4 sites across the Havering area, providing high quality experiences and education for all the children in our care.
