We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will also play a key role in managing daily activities and supporting the overall operation of the nursery.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate educational activities for children aged 1-5 years.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's learning and growth.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Collaborate with the management team to implement policies and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Support children's social, emotional, and physical needs through attentive care and guidance.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised nursery environment.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills to effectively guide junior staff members when necessary.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
