Role
As
Head of Room
, you'll:
Lead and motivate your team to provide high-quality care and education.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
Support the management team by driving continuous improvement and sharing innovative ideas.
Model outstanding practice, championing curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to every child's development.
Duties
Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate children's learning and development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain an inclusive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all children.
Support children in developing social skills, independence, and confidence through guided play and structured activities.
Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Experience
Full and up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

Current Safeguarding certificate

Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)

At least 3 years' childcare experience
, ideally with leadership responsibilities
A warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to childcare
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine desire to support children to reach their full potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
