We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and wellbeing Support colleagues in managing daily nursery operations and organise group activities Assist with organising outings or trips in accordance with health and safety guidelines Contribute to the overall management of the nursery by participating in team meetings and training sessions Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

Experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent recognised certification Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children Experience with managing groups of children safely while fostering their development
