Duties
Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery.
Supervise and monitor children's behaviour, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages learning through play.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents or concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily nursery operations.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and daily activities.
Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation within the nursery setting.
Skills
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
Excellent communication skills and, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety procedures, and child protection policies.
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities essential for working with young children.
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.50-12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
