Your Role:

As a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in planning and implementing engaging activities, supporting children's development, and building strong relationships with families. You will be instrumental in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities that promote children's development across all areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and organised activities ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents during regular meetings. Support the transition of children into the nursery environment by providing reassurance and personalised attention. Assist with administrative tasks such as planning schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with nursery policies. Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, organisation, and a caring attitude towards children and colleagues.

Skills



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and team member. Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment. A genuine passion for childcare combined with patience, creativity, and organisational skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.66 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
