We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development
Supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being
Supporting children's emotional and behavioural development through positive guidance and encouragement
Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Collaborating with colleagues to organise daily schedules and special events
Communicating effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Ensuring the nursery environment is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations
Assisting with administrative tasks related to childcare documentation as required
Driving children to organised outings or activities when necessary
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable
Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with child development principles and early childhood education practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or attending external activities
