We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care, support children's learning and development, and contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm, caring, and secure environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that support the EYFS framework.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times.
Observe and record children's development and progress.
Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, sleep times, and outdoor activities.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean, organised, and engaging setting.
Follow safeguarding procedures and all nursery policies.
Attend staff meetings, training, and development sessions as required.
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
Good knowledge of the EYFS.
Strong communication skills, including good spoken English.
A positive, proactive, and caring approach.
Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
