We are looking for a dedicated, qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team at our day Nursery in Hall Green. We provide high-quality childcare, helping our young children to thrive in our purpose-built environment. The successful applicant
must
hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in an early years setting.
An up to date Pediatric First Aid certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
Full and relevant Level 3 qualification.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Create a nurturing environment for children.
Using your knowledge of child development and learning theories to plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum, based on individual children's needs.
Observe, record and analyse children's play and activities.
Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships.
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times.
Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis.
Be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
Plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum with the team to consistently meet the requirements of the EYFS.
Carry out a key person role, building effective relationships with parents and children to meet the children's individual care and learning needs.
Supervise, observe, encourage, and support the children in meeting their personal targets through their interest in ensuring they progress and develop leading them onto the path of school readiness.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
Attend relevant meetings as required.
To respect confidentiality at all times.
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
