We are delighted to share with you that Cherry Pips Day Nursery is Blooming. We are having a new room built and looking for a nursery practitioner to join our growing team.

Responsibilities



Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support the Early Years foundation Stage Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Support children's emotional and behavioural development by providing guidance and encouragement. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines. Assist with the organisation of nursery routines including meal times, nap times, and play sessions. Uphold nursery policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards. Contribute to a team environment by sharing best practices and supporting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications



Childcare qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education are essential. Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to organise activities that support developmental milestones. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a caring approach towards children.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.22 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
