We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery setting Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and wellbeing Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Organise daily routines and manage classroom resources efficiently Lead by example in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation within the nursery environment Assist with the organisation of outings or trips, including driving when necessary Support the professional development of team members through mentorship and leadership roles

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood education certifications Min Level 3 required. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, creativity, and organisational skills
