Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your management and leadership skills will be essential in guiding both the children and your colleagues in daily activities.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential outings or transport needs. A nurturing attitude towards childcare with the ability to engage children in learning activities. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the nursery environment.
