We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a strong understanding of child development, and excellent communication skills. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in your care
Supervise children during play, meals, rest periods, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times
Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive guidance and interaction
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily routines
Foster effective communication with parents and carers regarding their child's development and daily experiences
Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organised, and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist with the organisation of nursery events and outings, including driving when necessary
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that support early childhood learning objectives
Experience
Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting is essential
Level 3 qualification is essential
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with childcare management systems is advantageous
Driving experience or possession of a valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
