Job Description

Full Time Level 3 Childcare position available at Little Gems Day Nursery.

- When you walk through the door you must have a warm smiling face that's approachable to all and makes every child feel welcome.

- You must be versatile and prepared to be a pirate one day and a princess the next. You must also have a big imagination and the ability to play pretend.

- A good sense of humour is essential and the ability to laugh at others jokes, even when you don't understand or find them funny!

- Singing in tune is not essential but the ability to sing to a crowd of under 5's is essential.

- You must be able to give hugs as and when required.

- You must be able to head count small moving humans at a fast pace.

- You must be able to do 5 jobs at once while giving a child your full attention.

- You must be comfortable reading stories to large audiences and be able to give quick responses to how, why, what, when and where questions throughout.

- You must be comfortable with getting covered in absolutely everything...Daily!

- You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace, regular periods of daily laughter is essential.

- You must be prepared to feel important, special and loved by lots of young children and their families.

- You must enjoy being busy.

- You will never get bored at work and you will feel rewarded everyday spending time with our amazing children.

Applicants must have a full level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification, Paediatric first aid preferred and Safeguarding training or awareness preferred.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
