Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join us at Little Gardners Nursery in Marchwood.

This is a full-time year round position for 30/40 hours per week to be worked over 3/4 set days with fully paid breaks and lunches.

At Little Gardners we place great enthesis on outdoor provision with an open door policy and we are fortunate in having our own 'forest school' area where we run outdoor learning sessions.

You will be responsible for a small group of key children and work closely with the team to produce the best results for all our children.

Overall Job Role:

To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years

To support the room manager with the daily running of the room

To ensure the room and resources are safe and appropriate for children, staff and others

To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development

To take on the role of being a key person, observing, assessing and planning for each individual child
