Dolly and Bear Day Nursery has a new and exciting opportunity available within our nursery.

We are looking for someone to cover 9 months of Maternity Leave, with the option of staying with us.

We are looking for a caring, supportive and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join our growing nursery.

Our nursery offers a warm nurturing environment where the children have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow and we are looking for the right person to continue their journey.

The Role :

For this role, you would need to have a level 3 in a currently

recognised

Early Years Qualification, due to meeting legal requirements for ratios.

This role is full time, Monday to Friday, with a robust key buddy system in place, shifts are flexible on rotating weeks - Early/Middle/Lates.*
Option of 4-day week.*
Experience is desirable, but training will be offered.*
Training is available for all team members this includes mandatory training and other training that you would be interested in to further your career.*
We are closed Bank Holidays and a week at Christmas, which is included in your annual leave entitlement.*

Roles and responsibilities within this role :

Take part in planning fun and exciting activities.*
Be a fun and loving key person to the babies*
Take the children on lovely outings each week.*
Safeguard the children within your care, also have a good understanding of safeguarding children.*
Work with the Room Leader and other team members to support the children within the room*
Follow policies and procedures to ensure high quality care is maintained.*
Complete the children's daily diaries and observations on the Famly app.*
Provide a warm, loving and caring environment for the babies to feel safe and secure.*
Complete daily tasks and activities that are needed throughout the day.*

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60-12.75 per hour
