We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children in a nurturing environment. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times within the nursery environment
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through personalised care
Organise and oversee daily routines such as meal times, play sessions, and rest periods
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and nursery policies
Assist with administrative tasks related to child records, attendance, and planning
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices
Demonstrated management and leadership abilities in a childcare environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care or equivalent are required
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies when required
Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a caring approach to children's needs
