We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our newly opened early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to children's growth whilst developing your management and leadership skills within a professional setting.
Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development.
Supervise children at all times during the day, including during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines.
Organise and oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support the integration of new children into the nursery environment with sensitivity and care.
Assist in the organisation of nursery events and activities to enrich the children's experience.
Contribute to team meetings by sharing observations and ideas for programme development.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience with childcare management systems is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be proactive, caring, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
