Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods Foster a caring and inclusive environment that encourages socialisation and emotional growth Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily experiences Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently upheld in accordance with regulatory requirements Assist with organising nursery events and activities to enrich children's experiences

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and organise daily operations Knowledge of childcare regulations, early childhood education principles, and child development stages Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning & Development or equivalent are essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
