Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. This role requires a genuine passion for early childhood development. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting that supports children's growth and learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's developmental needs in line with early childhood education standards Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Maintain accurate records Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and social skills among children Organise the daily routines Manage resources efficiently and ensure the environment is clean, safe, and inviting Support new staff or interns through mentoring and guidance in nursery practices Comply with all regulatory requirements related to childcare standards and policies

Requirements

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to organise activities that promote learning through play Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are desirable Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment A caring attitude with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children

Pay: 25,500.00-28,000.00 per year
