Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our inspirational childcare team as we continue to grow and expand our "outstanding" rated nurseries. We are looking for dynamic, passionate individuals who share our vision of giving every child the very best start in life.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in nurturing young children's development. Applicants should have relevant experience with children and be committed to providing high-quality care and education.

The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm, working 38 or 44 weeks per year.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development. Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times. Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines and special events within the nursery. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns. Assist with the organisation of outings and activities outside the nursery setting. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with nursery policies.

Experience

Minimum one year's experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Experience with childcare management systems is advantageous
